I could never phrase it as one thing. I'm interested in different tones, materials, cuts, aesthetics, all that s***, so the simpler way to put it would be how it catches my eye and how I can see myself styling it.
At least in terms of how I go for something.
If your jeans look/fit trash, everything else is gonna look trash. Also quality of the garments I’m wearing.
What you getting?
Buy pantagonia or everlane. Or buy thrift or used to be sustainable
Am I the only one who wears the same type of shoes and pants everyday? only switch up the tops, outerwear and accessories?

You're not alone! This is a good practice.

Try and break down your favorite outfit for me, I'm interested in your thought process.
So you're very selective?
Yes. On principle I don't buy new anymore. So I shop at thrift and curated vintage shops/antique shops. My sister is a tailor so she can fix just about anything I bring to her. So while fit is the most important to me I will often buy something ill-fitting knowing it will fit right in a week or two. After fit is color. Between fit and color that's basically all fashion is. I don't care about branding at all, in fact since I don't buy new I don't usually wear big branded stuff unless I like the fit and color.
Character
I like clothes that have a lil quirk to them or something being off about them, maybe the color, the texture, the print etc. I'm not particular about it being designer but it has to be quality
usually look for pieces that I can create multiple outfits with, I don’t rly like going for pieces that only works with like one or two outfits in my whole wardrobe

This is spot on, I think I could describe my taste in this way also.

How many pieces would you estimate that u own?
What constitutes quality?
Nice s*** just has a certain pop too it bro, whether it’s the fit, colors etc, that’s what I think about when I speak on quality.

Last time I checked after selling alot of stuff, I have 45 pairs of pants, 30 jackets, 50 shirts and 60 shirts and 25 pairs of shoes and alot of accessories that was the stuff I was left with last year but I've purchased more stuff so idk

I don't really have one. I've been broke so my outfits haven't really been a piece of creative expression
That's not to say you need money to have style, but all I have are essentially basics and very few of each type so there's not much to do
All black/adjusted to my body type/ dope prints if it’s a tee or pants
Good that I can get my s*** tailored if needed, So if I get something more bigger than what I normally use, I get it tailored
Also need to get some leather chelsea boots and doc martens boots ASAP to look dope af in all black, Kinda tired of the Nike’s I use..
