that's feminism
Queen
Actually for much longer than 30 years. Gloria Steinem's association with the CIA is pretty well known nowadays.
Feminism in theory sounds great, but what it actually is not so much. It’s something used to benefit white women and white women only. The only black feminist I ever meet are online. Most of them either biracial, middle class, divesters, etc. they always fall under that umbrella co-opting with white women who don’t care about them. Majority of black women i know reject feminism because they see through it. Black feminism is definitely something I can get behind though.
In short. White women invade everyone else’s spaces in then name of feminism. They speak over black people/women and completely hijack movements and steal moments. Dating a white feminist as a black person (specifically from the male perspective) is hell. You’re often guilted into thinking you’re apart of a problem that you aren’t. You being a male is constantly used against you as white women try to compare their oppression as women to you as black but also you as male. I saw a really good Muhammad Ali interview once that tackled this perfectly and it’s what I had to put up with for almost 2 years

Not worth half the headache honestly. I was just in a weird place of thinking I was in love and not wanting to be alone. Also not wanting to be complicit in toxic masculinity so I kind of just rolled over every time she said I was a problematic man. Didn’t realize until we actually broke up and literally every woman I’ve told about my situation including other White women telling me she sounded extremely manipulative

I mean, is it really any wonder why the MRA has become a thing? People love to dunk on them and condescend, but they didn't just appear out of nowhere.

I know I know 😞
