one of my favorite discussions, it's a tough one. clearly there really is no clear answer, but not what's your favorite album by them but what do you think is their master work? I think the obvious 4 are;
Revolver, their experimental classic where they became an innovative studio band.
Sgt. Pepper's, their classical/psychedelic masterpiece.
The White Album, their eclectic sprawling experimental double LP.
Abbey Road, their final form creative peak.
my pick is Abbey Road because it is their career encompassing swan song when they were still at their creative peak and still functioning on all cylinders as a band. Side 1 is a classic in itself with Come Together, Something, Oh! Darling, Octopus's Garden, & I Want You (She's So Heavy). then the literal perfect Side 2 suite is the stuff of legend. I think Magical Mystery Tour deserves a nod as well, as well as all their other LP's. looking forward to seeing what's your picks!
pretty much flawless album. I think it's top 5 in their discography. sometimes even cracks the top 3 for me but that Revolver-Abbey Road run is just incredible.

Rubber Soul should be in there :elon:
for most other bands, if they put out Rubber Soul, it'd be their clear cut magnum opus. but for The Beatles their stuff that they put out after it, is just a tad bit more transcendent to me.
My personal ranking from favorite to least favorite
Revolver
Abbey Road
Rubber Soul
White Album
Sgt. Pepper
Magical Mystery Tour
Help!
Let It Be
A Hard Days Night
Please Please Me

imagine if Strawberry Fields was on Sgt Peppers
White album
imagine if Strawberry Fields was on Sgt Peppers
I always said that Sgt Pepper is a better album if you replace Getting Better with Penny Lane and When I’m 64 with Strawberry Fields Forever
imagine if Strawberry Fields was on Sgt Peppers
it would literally be perfect and probably THE greatest album of all time, period. it'd be tough working out which song would have to be taken out for it, but it'd probably be 'When I'm 64'.
imagine if Strawberry Fields was on Sgt Peppers
imagine if Penny Lane was on there too
Sgt Peppers
i love the 2017 remix of the album. it totally elevates it
Switches between white album and abbey road depending on my mood, been on a big Beatles kick since I watched get back
