I got offered the job.

So what was happening here was there is this girl in my life, we've been friends for about 6 months and things were going well, but she was being distant and I wasn't sure she felt the same way I did.

Well, last Tuesday, just a few days before Christmas, she walked into a bar I was at and we embraced, she told me the only reason she was there that night was to see me and the vibe was really special. One of those times when the energy was being matched from start to finish.

We got cozy in a booth together and she never left my side the rest of the night. We held hands, she had her head on my shoulder and sang a love song directly to me at karaoke.

After barely talking for the past month, we've been very sweet in DMs this week, I sent her a voice message on IG last night that she loved, she's been flirting with me a bit, now she wants to get lunch next week.

So yes, I got what I wanted for Christmas
