As some of you have seen with some of my posts, I've been doing alot of different mesh basketball short concepts using a sublimation process (the Stone Cold short, the Magazine Collage short, the Acid Wave shorts for example).

I'm curious what else you guys would like to see in a short. I have a few more dropping shortly which aren't as busy and loud, but have a really great narrative and story to the color selections. I'd love to hear any suggestions or ideas that you personally would like to see.

A plain forest green colorway and a plain stone grey colorway

Pockets with a zipper.

Fit is key to me with shorts, I prefer shorter inseams but with a wider fit (a la Patagonia Baggies)

I agree with that. I went with the 6 inch inseam up from a 7 inch inseam to keep the fit up above the knee. I debated going 5 inch, but I just wonder if a 5 inch is too short for some.

I'm going to play with that idea. The depth of pocket I've been using has been good enough to keep anything from falling out, even while doing things like shooting baskets and running, but I do agree a zipper would be alot more practical.

I'll let you know now, there's a set using forest green coming soon. Definitely will look into playing with the stone grey idea too.

Haha not gonna lie... I've been thinking of a concept to incorporate a play on that logo. I took a Florida Gator logo and flipped them to look like Fendi's logo. I have another college short in the chamber using the Georgia G, I won't say how I used that one until that short drops. But yeah I'd love to find a way to use a Swoosh in the same way.

Honestly I'm just a big fan of pockets on my shorts lol crazy to think we came from a time when pocketless shorts was the norm and we got to witness mesh/gym shorts getting pockets in real time.

Haha for real. The reason I've been debating on some kind of closure for the pockets are when you're lying down for bench press or anything like that and your phone slides out.

The pocket depth in mine are enough so that usually doesn't happen, but I want to have a kind of closure to where it's not even an issue of that happening.

Fam for bench and squatting when the phone slides out it's the worst. Especially if you rocking the wired earbuds that day smh

The zipper definitely stops all that even with deep pockets. That's a reason why I like some of the Adidas gym shorts they have out. But the problem I have with those is that they don't make the pockets deep enough so zipping the pockets is actually a must lol
