Tbh I don't even understand how to leak stuff. Do you hack into the artist or their producers' computer? Get info from somebody in the studio? I never understood how music leaks tbh.

s*** can get leaked if the physicals arrive in stores early.

but a lot of it is it probably just being sent around between artists/producers friends and getting out that way, and a lot of times i could see it being from the actual producers selling them, seeing how much money leaks make now. like forza from WOD was literally caught selling uzi songs.

But it's incredibly disrespectful to leak stuff from upcoming albums or projects. I wonder if artits know who leaked their stuff. It would make me have trust issues with everyone working with me tbh.

Leaks n s*** f***ing suck, they f*** up what could otherwise be great album rollouts, not 2 mention they usually make an artist scrap songs that had a lot of potential.

If it’s not something the artist is planning to release in the near future tho, i actually don’t mind it that much. For example, I’m glad Mac Miller’s Balloonerism album is getting leaked.
