His acting has potential but it was just way too early to take on two major lead roles in his "acting career". Like another poster said, he needs to take on smaller roles, learn and build more skills in acting, and just be more exposed to the medium without doing too much.

The Idol and Hurry Up Tomorrow both conceptually were fine and Abel had his moments of decent acting. He just got too ambitious without having the necessary skills to put on a great performance and led to a lot of extremely corny moments.

Weirdly enough, I feel like he would do a quality job in a comedy or more animated shows. He made appearances in American Dad, Robot Chicken, and The Simpsons and honestly he did great lol.
