but its WELL DOCUMENTED that mac was buyin a bunch of prostitutes whcih made me raise an eyebrow at him saying "love is free"

like bro.... every single XXXtentacion or lil peep thread i straight up see dudes making direct jokes at their deaths

im not even talkin about mac's death

I think the love he is talking about is unconditional, it's free, unlike conditional love which is often demanding and difficult; and definitely not to be confused with s***and d*** usage, which both offer temporary relief, not love

I dunno, I didn't know the man, but I think your comments are inappropriate in this context

It's not inappropriate, it's inappropriate in this context because I really doubt the love Mac is trying to express is the same as hiring an escort
Like what does love have to do with hiring escorts?

Also do you know how many musicians and artists have toyed with the concept of love being free? It's a lot. A lot, a lot. You can call them out on Twitter right now, if you'd like. Like the whole concept of free love is a social movement going back to the 60s. It's simply a nice extended metaphor for something greater

But, if you want to interpret the lyric like that, that's fine
