Hmmm interesting
Turkey is in the middle east though (only a part of istanbul is in europe) and most people look closer to people from other middle eastern countries like iran/iraque/syria/egypt than european people

Im turkish but people always assume im egyptian, lebanese, indian or even maroccan/arab lol. Some family members from my mothers side have blue/green eyes but my fathers side way darker in compexion and hair colour. Interesting

If you think about it Turkey's probably the most diverse country in the world, you got all kinds of skin tones, hair color, eye color, etc. I knew a guy in high school who's Turkish who's very pale with gray eyes and black hair, when his father looks like your typical Turkish baba with darker skin and a thick black mustache

And then there's another girl I know who immigrated from Turkey herself is incredibly ginger with wide blue eyes

Yup exactly. Its one big mixture. Im never calling myself white because of how white people in the netherlands treat us though lol. Turks/maroccans/middle easterns is pretty much the same thing here and they wanna get rid of us so bad lmao

Yeah I can respect that, Europe's been all kinds of f***ed recently. Nationalists and the like have taken over so many countries in such a small amount of time perpetuating that garbage. To be honest though I see myself as white specifically from the fact that I have "white" skin. But I've had so many white people tell me I wasn't white because of my nose or because they think being Greek negates my skin tone Luckily though I haven't suffered at all beyond dumbass takes.
