    Every now & then

Give it time, the nostalgia will hit hard soon

The 2000 babies will be turning 21 this year

& although they didn’t experience the 2000’s consciously, they still have all the styles & fads & music to look back on

I believe my generation does it with the 90’s allot, even rappers in their late 20’s didn’t really fully experience the 90’s but we still see allot of the culture references and music/fashion used in today’s time

    Turning 29 this year ugh

  • Innocent

But why is this era not referenced as much as the 90s in rap. When most of these rappers like 18-25. Even with samples, how often do we hear samples from 2000-2009?

because while the instrumentals are good, the rapping isnt as strong

Brain pumper dropped a track over a 2000s type beat but i cant find it.

It was called get off my d*** or something like that, but everytime i search up "Brain Pumper - Get off my d***" I dont get anything music related

    Found it

"I know niggas hard behind the monitor thinking s*** funny, I know niggas sleepin on they auntie floor somewhere borrowing some money!

From where? Rep what? Did what?

    Stop lyin you Broke!
Yo sister on my camera phone right now and she chokin" BIG PUMP

Same reason why mainstream rappers in the 2000s wasn’t using beats that sounded like they from the 80s

but also producers are slowly starting to sample all that early 2000s s***. the beats that come out of sampling those early 2000s tracks may not sound/feel the same but at least they getting recognized
