There’s a huge difference. Future’s peak popularity was in 2015 with DS2. 4 years later he doesn’t have the same clout. Drake doesn’t need to go back and capture that magic, totally unnecessary. When has he ever made a part 2 of anything

Drake is a bonafied pop-star and a father now. People are already running with the narrative that he is a deadbeat dad. Obviously his goal is to change that narrative and I’m positive one of the themes associated with his next album will be his journey into fatherhood. So why on earth would he associate with a rapper who has been portrayed in the media as a d*** addict, deadbeat father who shouldn’t be allowed to see his kid.

That and then the simple fact that Drake X Future is played out in 2019 and has been since used to this dropped and no one really cared anymore.

See this is why I asked for clarification. How do you go from “it doesn’t fit drakes brand” to what you just typed as if niggas are supposed immediately think that’s what the hell you meant

-Drake has already made it clear that he’s open to because we literally saw him say it on video. Doesn’t matter how much clout Future has.

• People have been calling Drake a pop star his whole career. ESPECIALLY when HLB dropped, guess what came out after HLB... WATTBA.

• Most people don’t give a f*** about the deadbeat s*** as there was never any proof of it to begin with. Where has Drake went out of his way to change the so called narrative? All we got was “only deadbeat is whatever beats I been rappin too” that’s it. If he wants to rap about fatherhood that’s great, that doesn’t mean he’s doing it because of some narrative literally only haters still cling to a year later.

• Drake has been associating with future for YEARS bro. And literally NOBODYS cares about future being a deadbeat lol they love him. Future literally cheated on his pregnant fiancé and how many people care to this day? Exactly. Rick Ross been ducking child support payments. Should Drake not have done MITG/Gold Roses?

• Yeah you can say it’s played out if you want but judging by the fact that plenty of people actually want it, a lot of people would disagree with you

Plus if they did make a part 2 they need to shock the fans with a different direction or it will be looked at as 2 washed up rappers trying to recapture the magic.

it’s need’s to be a different direction than the first or it’s just gonna feel like a rehash of the first 1

Only way people will accept a part 2 of anything is it has to be better and improve on things you’ve done in the past.
