Whatever it is, there has to be a start otherwise we can infinitely keep on asking what came before.
was just thinking about this a couple days ago, how the universe came to be from nothing is something well never figure out

Why even bother with that question when we probably wouldnt even grasp the scale and idea of a non-linear timeline

imagine if we created a time machine and went all the way back, lmao
I only want a 1 v 1 with Kobe
That's all I ask for
I've always hated the classic atheist "what came before God" argument because it assumes time also runs linearly where God resides

im not atheist but i still wonder, how did god come to be?
some people who have almost died and were resuscitated have said that it's like a "void". sorta like the blink after sleeping and before waking up.
Nothing. God always was.
This is a concept I’ve never understood while i was raised as a catholic. I can’t wrap my head around it

The greatest minds that have ever existed cannot grasp it. Humans are a mere rung on the ladder of intelligence
No living person can answer this. We can only give what we think. It like asking a blind person what colors look like
Deadass I've been thinking that when I die, everyone sort of disappears cos I'm the center of the universe.
And people call me self-centered
I look at it as this: we had no sense of time before we were born, billions of years passed in what seems like no time. So, since when we die we lose consciousness we also lose sense of time. Causing trillions and trillions of years to pass instantaneously for an infinite amount of time thus ending the universe as soon as we die
Buddhist belief in reincarnation is pretty complicated
They believe basically you'll go somewhere else based on your karma. Whether its a "higher/better" or worse world than the one we live on.
6 worlds you can end up in right?
reincarnation just don’t really make sense to me in any sense that actually warrants calling in “reincarnation”
like yeah my decaying body will return to the field of energy it came from ig and become something else but it’s not like i’m going to retain any of my memories or personality or anything so is it really worth calling it reincarnation, yknow?
You don’t retain any memories you just get born again, if and when you choose
You get wiped of all knowledge and start over again

yeah ok but how is that really reincarnation then if for all intents and purposes you a completely different living thing in like every way?
like if you believe in souls or whatever i guess it makes sense but then wtf is a “soul” then really, if it doesn’t effect anything to do wit you as an individual?
hope i’m explaining this clearly lol

"The Universe is under no obligation to make sense to you."
