I was thinking of getting some argon T60rps or argon mk3's and a schitt stack down the line, what schitt combo would u recommend and how do the x2's line up with those. x2's are a lot cheaper than the argons so if the quality difference isn't that notable ill go with the x2 instead of waiting for a restock
I wish I could speak on the Argons in comparison to the X2's but I've never had the opportunity of trying them. Really wish I could. That said I have a feeling that the Argons will sound a fair bit better than the X2's, but you will be missing out on the very wide soundstage in the x2's. Personally I would opt for the open back x2's rather than something closed back like the Argons.
For the stack I would suggest the Magni+Modi. I currently use that stack and still did when I was using the x2's.

Bass sounds fine imo, I use comply tips which definitely help but the bass is presented accurately. Don't listen to much bass heavy music but sounds fine to me. Similar sound to the 660s which I love.
Used to own the fa9s, good bass but wasn't too impressed with the way it presented vocals.. especially for the price.
Better off getting the 500s, great for most genres.
or even the IE 800, thinking of purchasing them, the old ones are fine and can purchase for quite a good price online. 800 S are far too much money :/

IEM's? I haven't really been interested in these kind of earphones... But I've seen a couple of people here that know a lot about it that can help you with finding the right one
If you're still undecided, I got these yesterday and the clarity and instrumentation separation is insane. Easily the best IEMs I've heard.

Can probably find the earphones without the damper kit for less.
