    They are right, though

Sure, you weren’t tethered to the internet like you are now, but we still had things like AIM and MSN messenger where we could chat, set away messages, etc. we had message boards, online multiplayer games, etc

I’d say the internet age began in the mid 90s.

    doesnt count

How so? I think we are talking about two different things

“Internet age”, which imo started in the mid 90s

and the “always connected, social media age” which we saw come to rise in the early - mid 2000s with MySpace, Facebook, etc

Just to walk through my city and school and see what it felt like before holding this oversized screen in my hand 80% of the day.

I swear I'm living 70% in a digital world now and 30% in the real world. I want to know what it was like before.

    It was probably boring

When i think of 90s i think of atmospheric drum and bass, video games and the movie seven

Social Media age was more like late 2000s - early 2010s imo. The early to mid 2000s was a nice balance of life and tech

Best time for Healthy Tech Usage was definitely early 2000s until the Blog Era maybe

Yeah that’s fair. It def was more healthy on the early 2000s. Although I do remember people getting in their feels over top 8s haha.

But yeah it wasn’t as serious as it became later on
