Yea, Spotify actually does not want their users to be listening to more music tbh. They just want new customers
They want each customer to spend the least amount of time on the platform as possible so that you don’t listen to a lot of music. The more social you make Spotify, the longer amount of time people will be on Spotify And then they will naturally listen to more songs.
If Rn the average listener only listens to like 200 songs per month, and they are paying $10 a month, then once they start listening to 220 songs per month on average and still only paying $10 then you are now losing more money
