  • Like 100 - 200 million dollars. We know MBDTF is the album that cost the most to produce at 3 million dollars. But what if you had a substantially larger budget and could theoretically include any features, instruments or songwriters you wanted?

Albums just dont cost that much in total, even if you fairly pay everyone involved. Plus the payout/revenue potential is way different. Comparing even the most streamed album to successful movies that gross 1billion+ in the box office....there's no comparison

i have thought about this before. Money doesn't really equal success though. Look at Dr. Dre - Compton.
Great songs on there, but Dre pretty much has an unlimited budget and networking power in the music industry, and the album doesn't measure to others he's been a part of

200 mil though - yeah, that's a lot of money.
I think that you would definitely make something crazy. Remember though most of the best albums of all time weren't made on massive budgets.

Yeah that's true it simply wouldn't ever recoup that amount

Yeah you could have huge orchestras

    Hire Hans Zimmer

Build a skyscraper ONLY to record the album in, and then demolish it afterwards

I’d get some sound designers and producers together to make some reality bending s***

Would record rappers on several high end microphones and push them up like crazy in the mix

S*** would sound like how AI art looks

I would just pay Drake and Ye to make Jumping In Bourdeaux a real thing

  • Aug 16, 2021

every song recorded on a different continent

  • Me? What if I did?

The entire thing would be unpredictable as hell, but thorough and sleek. It’d have songs featuring Kevin Gates and Chino Moreno dueling with croons and production from Trent Reznor and Nadja.

Starlito and Rylo Rodriguez would do verses in between a Jerry Cantrell hook.

It would be completely and utterly ridiculous.
