For the first one, its the one Dr Dre is playing at 0:05-0:25
For the second one, its the only being played at 0:31-0:40 (keeps playing after though)

Both synthesizers, specifically synth lead sounds. They’re not exactly the same sound but they’re similar. Both being played high up

They’re definitely not outdated. A guitar is never outdated either. And yes I think you could easily create booth with a Minimoog. If u want smth modern get a Moog Voyager they’re amazing

Most modern synthesizers will probably have a preset that’s similar to G Thing. Be is a little more unique but part of synths is messing with the knobs or settings to get the sound you want. Have you used any software like FL studio or GarageBand? They have synths in them and the stock ones aren’t great but still might have something like this, and there are plug ins you can find online for better sounds. It depends on how serious you are I guess and what your preference is, I like having a physical synth but it might be easier for you to play synth on a beat if it’s all in your DAW and you don’t have to worry about recording the synth with an interface

Nah that s*** is great for sounds but making an entire beat wit it sounds intense. You need a sampler if you wanna be old school but I’d suggest just getting FL Studio on a laptop/Pc

Yeah but its mid it dont matter though 1000s of amazing synths can easily be pirated or bought.. Moog emulation included
