for conversational purposes I just call s*** a classic if I've liked it long enough for me to confidently rule out my opinion changing

Generally I'd say that takes about 4 or 5 years past an album's release date

I feel like this is the only right answer. But how long until it becomes a classic? would you say “instant classics” are possible

4-5 years is pretty fair honestly. Do you think there’s a such thing as an “instant classic”?

    ehhh not really
i feel like you gotta wait a few weeks or something to actually SEE the impact
that's not to say an album can't become classic in a short time tho ya feel
