I think they have a very talented line up, DVSN, Majid Jordan, Roy Woods, and PND but all their recent out put has been mid-trash (I liked DVSN Future song) it was such a sudden drop of quality . I just feel like OVO is in a s*** position and our in a mess for whatever reason . This new Party Next Door song is mid imo which is the last straw for me.

The rnb wave is just dead rn I think sadly, unless you're a major r&b artist already

but it always comes back around, hopefully partys next project does well

Roy should be dropping bangers on some like modern Pi'erre production tho idk what they doing

Maybe they just dont see themselves being bigger than OVO, cause if I were in any of their shoes and I really believed in my talent I'd be goneeeeee, with all due respect to king slime drizzle

OVO has been honestly my favorite label in terms of sound. the late night, neon, sometimes hazy vibe all the artists fit together pretty cohesively besides maybe Baka but they carved out a certain lane and it sucks to see the output they’ve been had recently between Roy & DVSN barely dropping, Majid chasing pop hits straying from their usual sound and Afrobeat PND. We all see the potential these artists can all have as a collective and they’ve just mad dropped the ball it’s sad s*** man

    R&b not dead

I just think the OVO/Drake sound is played out rn. More soulful and traditional s*** is coming back
