the story about moving to the suburbs bc his mom married someone new was weak too like i could rock with the narrative that rap should be an artform we celebrate as a means of changing our lives and expressing our pain instead of tearing each other down. that i could rock with. but talking about moving to the suburbs as a means of defending drake is so incomprehensibly g@y i cant even believe he thought that was some bars

I prefer a middle-of-the-road “hey, I see both these guy’s general perspectives and I’d still call them friends, and maybe that can justify why I did this really embarrassing thing?” response from somebody who participated in the beef and objectively flopped
