if the animals were from a farm you went to personally and knew the conditions of and, had every animal tested for diseases and bacteria with a crazy level of strictness and ate the meat like immediately after it was killed, you would PROBABLY be ok. But eating just store bought meat raw like that is crazy town

In the Japanese countryside there are some traditional joints that sell chicken sashimi. It’s specially raised in a crazily maintained farm and cut perfectly so it’s safe to eat. There’s no way it tastes good or is any healthier than cooking it but it’s just some traditional type s***.
