If the label is putting them on somebody’s pop song or single, meh

Having a voice in the song’s direction and getting some help or input when they cant fully execute something is valid to me, if quality music comes out of it

Writing is fine and happens often, the end result is the most important.

But its also situational, having majority of your songs or most iconic songs written for you looks crazy especially if you claim being the best. Or even having very personal songs written for you, just looks funny.

The ghostwriting tho is pretty deceitful, but thats what happens when having writers is extremely frowned upon and leads to people wanting to dismiss your whole catalog
