Drake showed on SH3 that he can outbar him on beats which Kendrick is expected to usually to rap on. Generally, Drake also makes better hit songs. There is no way for Kendrick to go on that lane. In my opinion, Drake is a better songwriter as well. Songs like The Shoe Fits is something you wouldn’t get from Kendrick.
Cole is going crazy. I was never a fan but his features in the last two years made me change my opinion on him. When it comes to pure rapping ability, he is number 1 in the big 3. And his flow ability isn’t very far behind Drake. His next album will likely make the Kendrick audience go towards him.
If we are talking about creativity, Donda 2 had a lot of creative song ideas which unfortunately never got finished but songs like Too Easy, Get Lost and Happy are way more creative than anything Kendrick had on his last LP.

There is really no lane left for Kdot where he can truly shine. He had an amazing run though.
