There's a big gap stylistically in F&L and The Cool from the whole rest of his discography

Tried my best to like Tetsuo & Youth and etc but a lot of people tune out when he goes over the top with being lyrical miracle spiritual, and just being too vague or cryptic. Instead of writing clever but straightforward, catchy hits like in his early albums

Listened to LASERS again recently, honestly isn't as bad as it's made out to be but the chourses are rough...the over the top radio singers on State Run Radio for example kinda ruin it

I don't want to care right now is actually a good example too of a fun sounding song ruined by the chorus

T&Y is literally the only album he intentionally does that though. The others are accessible and with conceptual layers like The Cool.

But surely accessibility can't be the only "realistic" measure for being the best album can it?
