But hell, maybe the first time I played the Rex battle from mgs 1 on playstation. This way harder than I thought lol

Actually replayed through MGS1 a week ago and it’s amazing how well that game still holds up. Some of the boss fights are a lil jank and the PAL card still sucks, but other than that it’s incredible all these years later.

Last of Us Part 2’s Ratking sequence is one of my favorites from recent memory

when you visit the Baron room for the first time

Rat king was phenomenal. Everything about the pacing up to the encounter, to the actual battle was jaw dropping. Best part in the game probably and that is really saying something.

This classic level mes me wish we could get a call of duty with open ended levels like this. Like on a bigger scale. I've only played a few if the games, but to my knowledge they are pretty linear. I remember this level in particular though. Mesmerizing the first time through
