I was trying to listen to him the other day but I just cant understand the appeal.

I kinda like the stuff he did when he was first getting on and was getting 21 savage shoutouts, but I never really got INTO IT INTO IT.

He's a tough dude with a big heart. Looks handsome enough for the females to love him but imposing enough for dudes to respect him

Great production, great melodies, great hooks, and effective lyrics for the pain and struggle he talks about. Not to mention all the drama surrounding him irl + his love life is like being a fan of a YA novel series rather than keeping up with a typical celeb, which adds more weight to his lyrics.

And most of all, his voice. That strong Louisiana drawl that's commanding and full of emotion.

Youngboy fans exist only on the internet. Don't think I've ever even heard someone say his name in real life

We all bump boosie gates and webbie down here, plus some houston hits. If someone grabbed the aux and put on youngboy it'd be shocking

I get the appeal of him but he wouldn't be popular without the internet, IMO

And by the internet I mean white suburbanites listening to look hard
