What is the longest you have went without deciding to listen to any song/album/etc? Why did you take the break? Would you do it again?
2 month because of the fatigue I built up and listened to podcasts instead
Returning to music from the hiatus was something else, it's like the first time having s***in 6 months
Some music weirdly reminds me of naive times or just doesn't hit the same anymore. Biggest music hiatus as a whole, however, was probably when quarantine started and I wasn't listening to music anymore or at least the same.
If I go more than a couple days I start feeling weird
I recommend you to take a month break from music, when you listen to music again it s like a truck hitting you. In the mean time go out with your friends, listen to education videos, or podcasts
took a break from fatigue for about a month which got extended due to ramadan approaching since i figured i might as well keep it up.

I don’t wanna think how depressed I’d get w a month of no music
if you watch tv/movies every day or listen to the radio while driving or even just watch stuff on youtube it's nearly impossible to avoid music. music is everywhere in life and music is life.
If I go more than a couple days I start feeling weird
If I go more than 2 days without hearing
I become very irritable
y’all get fatigued from music?
yeah but when i am it becomes background music for a little while before i care again

Don't worry you won't get depressed like I said watch some funny videos or listen to a podcast in its place

“You won’t get depressed”
y’all get fatigued from music?
never
When I was in a mental hospital and obviously didn’t have my phone to listen to any music to
There was a little program where everyone got to play one song but it’s not the same as listening to an album

y’all get fatigued from music?
occasionally i reach a point where i'm just straight up not getting any enjoyment from it and it turns into background noise.
Not even a little?
the only time music ever makes me fatigued is when I fly to college and it’s like 12 hours of music the entire way

idk man I do that s*** and I still think I’m incredibly reliant on music for my brain to feel stable
maybe I’ll try it though
