I’m growing tired of living in a simulation. Working for 8 hours doing the same thing every day for 5 days straight. I miss being in marketing when everyday was a new task, there was always something to learn, and grow. Here there isn’t anything other than a $14 paycheck that gets put in everyone’s pockets but my own..
I keep a journal of tasks and I’m growing irritated of writing down a goal of “Apply to 2/3 jobs” everyday for it to just be a repeated reminder that I can’t find a job, I understand it’s not in my control.
But now I’m getting more and more frustrated at the economic and governmental system, and how they have managed to make my life worse. Like I don’t understand the extent of what I’m doing anymore, and what is this all for?
Like what is my end goal here?
I can’t feel good about my future, because the government continues to throw vulnerable people into the fire, and companies continue to see how far they can push people out until all we can pay for is the food, shelter, and healthcare that humans should be guaranteed to live with and not have to fight for..
To do the best you can with the foresight that tomorrow brings you another chance to try again.
One man alone cant change the wotld but you can change your environment with the power of your brain alone.
Do something different.
The secret to getting out of a depression is to change jobs or move to a different city.
i feel u 1000000x percent
theres 2 answers that come to mind
1. modern people are under the illusion that in the past life was insanely s***ty and that only in the last 100 years has life even rly become worth living. this is entirely false. its a complete misunderstanding of what values and experiences drive humans. in the jungle no one was "depressed" because the thrill of survival and living freely was so intoxicating. people now have been indoctrinated to think this system is the only rational approach to life, when its really a ploy to maintain control.
2. i do not believe this is a true simulation. i believe that god experiences life thru all creation, and he literally feels everything everyone feels. this is how karma works, not only through natural cycles of people reacting to events, but god literally is like recording everything we do through the transfer of energy of our actions and thoughts. ultimately we will die and go to a realm suiting our karmic signature. now is any of this true? idk. but this is my belief after studying a lot of religions and just living life. the main point here is life has a purpose, how we treat people matters, and we dont rly have the option to quit, we gotta roll with the punches
How do we know if God exists? How do we know it's positive?
Are you the definition of an angel or the opposite?
I mean the point of the current economic system is to take money from the poor via labor and funnel it up.
There is no point to life if that's what you're asking. Philosophers been bickering abt this s*** forever. I like a perspective that leans towards Taoism.
nows never been a better time to just spend more time w friends and family and pursue something creatively fulfilling w no expectations. sounds corny but its the little things that reminds us we're actually human.

we have no basis to assume that theres no point to life. the same is true for the inverse but still we just dont know

I mean it all depends on what you define as a point and where you are coming from. Evolutionarily our point is to make babies.
I'm not really proposing that there is no point, in my eyes, so there's no burden of proof. I say "there is no point" with the implication that any point one tries to justify will be without merit. Rather than saying it in the positive, I'm saying it in a way of absence. Without the ability to prove there is some meaning to our life, all we can safely assume is that we are unaware of a point or purpose.
I still think it's good to like, be a kind person and not inflict cruelty on ppl. But that's besides the point

Something cant come from nothing. At some point unified consciousness fractured and reality was born
until you choose for yourself, you are in a state of alienation, merely a tool of labor to advance the value that shareholders extract.
break the mold.
