Overall tho I really hope this is some awful attempt at parody - the way they introduced The Godfather really made me wonder if they were talking about the same film. Did they really say it’s a crap watch but you should see it just to contextualise a Disney film ? 💀💀

Was neither of those to me. Just pretty boring, poorly written, carried by a amazing performance from Joaquin phoenix & took way too much from the movies that influenced it. The ending is a straight up rip off of King of Comedy expect not done as well.
