Probably Golden Boy. Its one of those shows you watched at the exact time you needed it. I still put it on to get motivated.

This is a perfectly worded description of how I found Golden Boy tbh. LMAO.
Intro is some heat
Its like they're writing in a different language originally or something haha
Nah chief that ain’t it. There’s just a huge reliance on telling-not-showing in anime. Maybe its just differences in Japanese writing customs, but it comes off really corny to me. Always takes me out of the moment when I try to get into anime.
Stars in the sky
saba and kinokuniyo
That’s my teacher!? Onigara!

There are so many Anime that don't fall into this category. I think most of what you watched were prob 'Shonen' anime, meaning that its aimed at teenage boys.
.Watch Perfect Blue for example
Touch (the 80s series)
HxH
Kimagure Orange Road
Satoshi kon movies
Evangelion
Kids on the slope
Katanagatari
I think imma say either.... After the Rain, Mnemosyne, or Oregairu. I don't think anybody cares for my opinion so I'ma just leave it at a humble recommendation
Devil is a part timer was great too, I know a couple people on here who really liked it too
