Because 30years deep reusing the same ip instead of cranking new ips to try and show they got something in store, they don't. Was looking forward to bayo 3 and metroid 4 but too late for that.

It's everything a video game should be imo.

def red dead 2 for me. loved how they handled political themes like the indian expulsion/extermination/ Post-(Slavery)/jim crow/white supremacy/ civil war/ industrialization
and im not even talking about arthur and dutch. best characters of all time imo

but if I wanted to be real though, Botw and Super Mario Odyssey are fantastic games that awakens that child like innocence of exploration and imagination.
I just don't f*** with that anymore
