Of all his projects, which do you think is the best in terms of beats, overall production, transitions, vocal sound quality?

Imo just in the terms mentioned in OP I would say Views. A lot of great production (especially 40's beats) great transition and the best vocal sound on all of his albums

NWTS and its not even close

Could see an argument for TC, NWTS and IYRTITL tbh. But personally, I'd have to go with NWTS. Tuscan Leather, Furthest Thing, Connect That lil echo on Drake's and Jhene's vocals on From Time is underappreciated af, adds so much to the song

I would say Views has a little more attention to detail, but NWTS probably is the most focused.

Just in terms of transitions More Life is probably the best

nwts production is the defenition of attention to detail. All the samples are utilized perfectly. The here today gone tomorrow, "swang" on Connect, Machine Gun Rap on Wu Tang Forever, Jhene in the background of Wu Tang, Birdman talking his s*** on Language

Furthest Thing beat sounds like a f***ing train and 40 made it somehow one of the greatest beats oat

The sonics and compositions on TC is what made it so influential

Same man. Didn’t have to worry about adult stuff aside from studying. Saving up for my trip to the States the following year.

The album just brings back the nostalgia man

It’s crazy that GTA V has survived so long since then

Views sounds the most expensive and lush and Drake’s vocals sound amazing

More Life

The transitions (4422 into Gyalchester is GOATed)
Vibe matched the energy in the air of the time
It was a playlist after all, and flows like a perfectly crafted setlist (something we don’t get out of drakes other projects except maybe nwts)
Incorporated pieces like his mom’s talk at the end of can’t have everything and weezy talkin about bad b****es at birthday parties

NWTS but something ab iyrtitl was nicely put together

NWTS and More Life

Listening to More life from start to end is a treat for the ears

Views sonically flawless.

Toss up between Views and NWTS. I think Views has a better conceptual soundscape of like being winter to summer to winter in Toronto. It also has some grand production on tracks like Keep The Family Close. And has amazing transitions.

NWTS has really unique production that like many people have said, is timeless. Might even be higher quality production than Views but idk.
