Yeezus was forward looking in that kanye used a lot of dance and house influenced sounds which outside of Grime wasn't a thing and Grime is considered more of a dance genre than rap. Dance music has been influencing hip hop more lately regardless of whatever particular sound you like (jersey club, chicago house, bashment) which wasn't really a thing between yeezus and 2020-ish.
