I’ve been noticing more people IRL start having this take about Tyler more and more. Especially after Cracc Era dropped and now I’m curious what is it about a rapper in general that makes em come off boring? If it’s rapping about the same subject but just not in a good way anymore?

When they have nothing unique or stand out about them. Guys like Nav and Gunna are so generic and boring to me. Zero passion for lyricism, flows, storytelling, humor, anything that could make a song memorable

Nothing stands out from the writing, flow, punchlines, quotables, production, melodies etc.
Don't even need to excell in all attributes, one or two is fine.

But a boring rapper just sounds like a stereotype of whatever lane they're in
