I think what makes Carti work is that he’s just not even trying and trying his best to not give the listener any hint of him trying. He’s pretty much just making sounds and jamming together phrases the best way he knows how without giving you effort. It’s a hard thing to explain cause it’s something I think Carti isn’t consciously doing or trying to achieve.

He just appeals to me a lot cause basically his music just feels non-bs and just raw. Like I said,he’s not trying and he’s not trying to give the listener that impression.
