Was talking to this old man on clubhouse and I asked him what makes someone more lyrical? Old bat started talking about haikus and some other stuff that made no sense with a bunch of other older people cheering him on. But to you, what makes someone a better lyricist in comparison to another person?

Dropping punchlines that are a variation of "Life's a b****", calling cocaine a White girl, having no pot to piss in, and balling like insert NBA player.

    There’s different aspects of lyricism.

For me the most important one is the wordplay/punchline. Example: Wayne

  • For me its the content of the lyrics and punchlines/wordplay

Lyrics that I can listen to and pick up on more things when I hear them

  • Whether you’re lying in a song or writing a story. There are tons of songs where people are just lying.

There's a lot of that in rap right now, from people that I know who rap. It's like, 'I got my AK-47, and I'm f***ing,' and I'm like, what? You don't have a gun. 'And all my b****es,' I'm like, which b****es? That's posturing, and that's not what I'm doing.
