Out of ~ 8 billion people on the planet what percentage (%) of us would you guess is genuinely happy?
I know “happy” is a subjective term, so I mean essentially being free of notable worry and not feeling down on a consistent basis.
I’d expect it to be surprisingly low and I find it quite shameful that it might be that case.
Hope everyone has a good week and a good rest of the year and a good every year. We can all be happy 🙂
Whatever percentage of the world is made up of those super indigenous third world countries that are completely cut off from the rest of society and don't realize that they're poor.

maybe 40. I think almost everyone either has regrets of things they did or aspirations they wish they followed. Or even the people in a lucrative career / dream job have problems because of the downsides of having money.
happiness is a fleeting feeling though, nobody ever finds happiness and keeps it forever

Do you agree that those examples you gave of things that interfere with our reaching of that fleeting happiness; could’ve and should’ve been eliminated by now based on how long we’ve been here

what do you mean? i'm not really sure what you're saying. like money shouldn't matter as much?

they're only poor from our perspective of being in a capitalist society
they're only poor from our perspective of being in a capitalist society
Yeah, that's what I said.

and their standard of living is low as s*** let’s not sugar coat it here
and their standard of living is low as s*** let’s not sugar coat it here
no one is sugar coating anything, my point is that if they are happy how can they be poor when in their world they don't give af about money?

this has nothing to do with their standard of living
this has nothing to do with their standard of living
it absolutely does when you're judging their standard of living by your own
it absolutely does when you're judging their standard of living by your own
fair enough but there are things such as access to health care or convenient food sources/clean water that are universal
you are also heavily implying happiness is derived from a lack of care for money but that isn’t entirely true either
