there was a free one someone through out like 2 weeks ago by my area wanted to take it but i have a ps2 i dont touch no more if i were you i would get a dream cast loved that system best games to for it but my fav game of all time something i loved playing was gta 3 its my fav game of all time next to cs 1.6 d2 lfd 2 now get that game i could never beat the last mission in it

Its not emulation either so its pretty much the same as the actual things, so if something is expensive that you want then look into that.
The hacking scene just made a recent advancement with USB play back on the ps2 too. Its still going strong.
And if you have a ps3 it has hella ps2 games for $20 n under digitally & the store isnt getting shut down no more.
Tons of options for those expensive &/or limited games 👍

If you have a Wii get its port for that (its cheap af & you can play without motion controls).

Dragon Quest 8I dont know the pricing on any of these (i also have my own game collection that also includes PS2) but they are classics & some are long such as DQ8 & some are really replayable like Katamari.
Also tho, most have remakes, remasters or straight up ports on to PS3 & some PS4 n even Switch, so they might be better quality wise there & more than likely cheaper such as Okami (top 10 game of all time for me personally) & SOTC.

Emulation is actually the best way to play these games today. Running the games in 4k through pcsx2 🥵 save states, no need for memory cards, and can use whatever controller you please

Yeah but you need a great pc, especially to play it above specs.
Ps2 emu is still a bit tricky, but you need a lil bit above decent laptop/pc to play it normally & you need an actual game pc to play it with all the bells n whistles.
But yeah, if you have a pc or laptop bought in the last few years then you can probably get away with playing it at reg settings.
I agree emu is the best tho, & this is from someone with their own lil game collection.
