I testified about the greatness of Victory Lap all 2018 on OG KTT. He dropped a classic and achieved the most success of his career all on his own terms and his trajectory was going up. Plus what he meant for his community

  • last few years have been hell and it feels weird to choose or whatever but i was a huge fan of doe b, jimmy wopo n lil yase who were all fast rising

MF DOOM's death is still very odd to me seems like he just retired and went to a mysterious island.

All of them was wild. But the one that impacts me the most is Kobe (yea, he’s a rapper not just a baller)

kobe did have a rap/rnb song out so yeah he kinda was a rapper

juice had all the multifaceted talents that people claimed X did (not to disparage X, his death was also a major blow to hip-hop) except he was great at all of them. his work ethic combined with his ability to deliver quality songs made him a once in a generation legendary artist. he was going to be a megastar the further he got along, instead he's just a "what if" that will never be answered.

Man that might have been the most avoidable. What the f*** were his friends doing smh. The fact we have footage of him looking like he was in the midst of a OD is insane.

Also, if you do d****. Have a test kit there’s too many bad pills out there.

Mac for sure. I remember bumping What’s The Use and Self Care days before and thinking he was really about to enter a new prime, and then the news absolutely blindsided me. I remember finding out at work and feeling so f***ing shaken all day.

And not a rapper, but SOPHIE 💜 it’s unbelievable to me that she’s not here. To think what she achieved and directly inspired in electronic and pop music in under a decade…

  • Feb 7, 2022

    nip for sure

Mac Miller's death still haunts me, thinking about everything he achieved despite massive mental and substance issues is mad. I've struggled with my own stuff during that time and its remarkable that he was able to hold it together for so long. I've listened to faces on an almost weekly basis since it came out and it unlocks a new feeling everytime.
