Not 100% sure yet but Im starting to reconsider this nursing thing. What could I go to college for that I could hopefully be done with in a few years that could help me make some decent money.
Preferably nothing dangerous like welding
Something computer based - i would pick something I’d enjoy tho why spends years unhappy
Everyone I know that makes the most money does a really niche job like elevator technicians or some s*** that people never think of... $80 an hour. Just find a specialty job and go for it
don't ask f***ing strangers what you should do with your life wtf. pursue something you're interested in and btw a couple years in college won't secure s***.
1. Go to Ivy League
2. Work at Goldman Sachs for 2 years make 180K
3. Work at Blackstone for 2 years make $250K
4. Go get Ivy League MBA
5. Go work for a late stage startup
6. $$$$$$$$$$$

Cyber Security (Biggest growth/demand)
Accounting (CPA route)
Data Science route in Com Sci (Information Systems/Analytics)
Just regular Mathematics - easily most versatile major on the job market
imo go with what your most passionate about. Even if you haven’t decided on a career. If you pick a major/career based solely on the income then you just automatically put a cap on how much money you can make.
If your career is your passion, the possibilities are endless. It all depends on your effort.
If u already a CNA u have an upper hand.
Apply to ADN schools, you'll be done in 4 semesters and it's really cheap.
After that get ur BSN online. Work in some easy field of nursing, you'll make decent money. But with COVID-19 running around I know a lot of places cut hours for some workers so idk how easy it will be for a job.

Which one of these do you think would be the least stressful field / education+ $60k+ /a year?
Can you elaborate?
honestly since you have some experience in health care i would check out a career as a nuclear medicine tech

It's so hard to get a job in that field tho 😪
I know a guy in that field that said it took moving to 3 different states over 2 years to finally get lucky enough to get a job

I'm in Big 4 accounting, I finished state school with 40k in loans for 5 years (including my needed masters)
These salary figures below are accurate and reflected a mid - cost of living area (High COL areas starting salaries would begin at 62k-65k and grow at the same rate seen below here)
So if you're in NYC/LA/Bay or whatever, expect 75-78k by senior and 100k-120k by manager.
At Senior level it's common to maneuver out of your 75k salary into 100k-115k postions (~20%ish bump). Average age at this point would be 26 and your exit opportunities would be corporate finance/managerial accounting jobs with 40 hour work weeks. There are people that move onto very different paths and get creative/richer but this is whats common.
