I'll go first
Leave - rage beats
Add - more house/electronic production a la kaytranada and new era skrillex
from a piano player, I think rap needs some time away from them until they learn how to have a better relationship wit em.
The same old heads running the game a decade in
Like we're all just smoking Opium getting lazy with creativeness
People excited for A.I. so it'll be easier to make a bag
But in the process take away the little power these artists once had
Or is it the gatekeepers getting out of the touch with the youth?
KTT debates on whether Melz should be banned for his musical views
But for every Playboi there's a No Rizz Carti
When you're rewarded for imitation how do you play the game smartly?
When the clock goes TikTok will you give into the trends?
Or refuse to ride the wave and drown in the saturation of the blends
I don't know really but I got these bills to pay
So i'll just write another s***post on KTT and call it a day

that or let Jahan Sweet produce their beats instead of some 16 year old with FL studio
No more drill and chill with triplets please
Honestly leave NYC rappers as a whole in 2023
Need more mainstream artists to hop on a variety of beats, like I don't get why we still get 10 out of 15 songs on an album over the same production. A lot of careers could be revived of that.

That man actually went to Julliard and is actually a SICK jazz pianist (met him at grammy camp during high school)
Notice the best producers also musically talented lol

That house/electronic wave ain’t gonna hit plus it already had its run in 2012-2014. Niggas is on club/dance wave heavy rn, most we’ll see it go to is DnB

oh you a Florida kid too?
Leave that offbeat rapping on rage production
Add more musical elements to the actual music and experiment with arrangements like what Metro is trying out

the trendy house music of 2012 and 2024 is pretty different, much less commercialized
that being said, i don't see house specifically trending amonst rappers, but i'd def put stock in other dance genres like DnB, garage, Jersey club still, and Brazilian funk having growing influence
oh you a Florida kid too?
Stayed in Jacksonville for some years
Lived out there twice actually
Being silent and letting everyone get a pass out of fear of being called "old" and "out of touch"
These new niggas trash dawg and are part of the reason for the decline in hip hops popularity.
