WESLEY THE GREATThey pulled some strings and gave DONDA an AOTY nomination. They definitely been talking behind the scenes to get their ratings back up and Ye probably agreed to come back and appear under “certain conditions”.

krishna boundi think it's self-explanatory, if you treat something like s*** and talk bad about it but they ask you to perform and you still obediently do it within the rules set for you and follow their rules, you're the one being taken advantage of and your prior disrespect is a temper tantrum. That'd be like saying if you disrespected your parents but they didn't kick you out of your house you're somehow the one with power over them
Man I’ve spent 10 minutes trying to type a response but we might just have to agree to disagree. I get the temper tantrum a***ogy, but they could’ve easily cut Kanye off after the piss video. That’s clear disrespect to their industry, yet they give him a Grammy same year and he’s up for aoty now. Unless there’s s*** behind the scenes they can’t be dumb enough to assume he’s gonna just bend to all their rules after that. He has enough f*** you money to never attend the Grammys again

That's fine, it's just my opinion. I guess at the heart of what I was saying was that "having f*** you money to never attend the grammy's" doesn't matter unless he actually chooses to not attend the grammy's imo, because by still cooperating with them he's still giving them legitimization
