As for the thread, I'd wish him to make a sunny pop album, where he puts the same work MJ + Quincy put on Thriller. I don't necessary mean for Abel to make another Thriller, or to dethrone it, this doesn't matter to me.
What matters is the work ethic. MJ and Quincy recorded over 30 songs, and often debated at cutting songs from the tracklist cause MJ liked the tracks Quincy said "no", cause Quincy aimed to make an all-killer-no-filler album. And they achieved it, in spades. Abel claims to be a hard worker but I really doubt it, he hasn't done enough.
