I don't miss with my stock picks smh if only more people listened. NIO has had a bunch of short term volatility but is a great long term ev play. They have built a whole community around owning one of their cars which is huge. PLTR probably has some solid upside still considering they are being backed by an absolute giant (ackerman). SNOW also a fire cloud solutions company that has increased efficiency over AWS and other competitors. I would watch these companies for a bit though before buying

If it's a yes too all of those then you should download robinhood, pay 5 bucks a month for gold, and DCA into a few ETFs while you research individual stocks.

lol joking about the loan but not about investing in equities. Etfs are good too although if your at a young age you should be taking on more risk in order to receive greater future returns which will create way more long term capital based on the compounding effect

I'm on the same page as you, we should be taking risks but hedging with some ETFs in your portfolio just makes sense, and it's impossible to invest in every good stock in a given sector.

OP sounded like he has no clue what he's doing so I wanted to give him the basic advice to get going.

I definitely invest in equities, I just like ETFs too. I've also got emerging market exposure in my Roth so I don't have to worry about investing in Chinese bullshit etc, that stuff is just handled automatically for a very reasonable fee.
