probably because you dont really care to begin with sis
Not much we can do
we been thinking earth got some sort of plot armor this whole time but this is real life giving us a reality check
Nobody has been 'got'.
The point that has really been made is that any type of progress (as we tend to think of the word) has driven us closer to the sixth great extinction and every single social construct should be abandoned as we use the remaining years of our successfully built global civilization to cultivate as much resiliency as possible in every corner of the globe. The leading economies that have stolen countless resources from lesser economies should be essentially reversed. 8 billion people are in imminent danger of dying and it should be prevented at all costs. 8% year-on-year compounded degrowth should be the goal.
Our entire species should be shaken to the core with the knowledge we have now. We are unbelievably special balancing on the edge of a blade. It's not socialism vs communism anymore it's well beyond that. It's life or f***ing death that transcends all systems. These grandiose constructs that have created our exceptionally advanced civilization AS WELL AS our own doom have to be used with extreme precision at the very end to prevent our extinction. But nah. Classism that, socialism this, taxes here and Co2 there. It's f***ing hopeless.
Anyway @op the answer is nothing
We live for 80 years and then we die
Whatever climate progress we make here is gon get immediately undone by the next generation lmao
Ride the painted pony and let the spinning wheel glide

As citizens we can do our part but the government and billionaires aren't doing their part and they're the ones causing most of the damage.

We're all but guaranteed to have a hotter climate in the future
S*** just seems f***ed man
The only way to stop is lowkey getting rid of capitalism but s*** man this country is so unwilling to change its ways that it's getting frustrating

So let’s do something about it
I don't know man, I go back and forth between optimism and pessimism.
I always thought eventually we would get our s*** together but between the way the pandemic has been going and the fact that there's still a sizeable chunk of people who don't even believe in climate change, the current moment may be as good as it gets.
Personally I try and make stay knowledgeable and make individual changes where I can.

Getting rid of a system that requires infinite growth to sustain itself won’t do anything ?

Theres plenty of clean air in China

Neither of those are true communism.
Don’t spread this false narrative, those were and are extremely authoritative governments who act as communist/socialist regimes under false pretenses.
