I mean, who else would it be tbh? Merz is by far the most prolific and arguably has the largest cult following. Guy has like a couple hundred albums, if any noise artist was gonna be the face a meme, it'd either be him or a clip of Reed's MMM haha.

Hate to see people making of meme out him tho (or the genre in general). Just opens a whole new set of doors for people to treat something different as a joke and dismiss its fans by "refusing to believe" there are people who genuinely enjoy stuff like it.
