i always feel like things switched up a bit for Odd Future, around the same time as Earl coming back from Samoa! i guess their popularity started to increase even more...

there was definitely something brewing up within Hodgy - as time went on, during the Odd Future explosion
he started off being really charismatic when they first blew up, he was practically Tyler's right hand man, in any interview or performance!
but then he turned into a very silent member of the group; stopped being as prominent in the mix, almost saying nothing during interviews and really giving off a "i cannot be f***ed with this at all" attitude

this isn't really saying anything, i'm just making a couple points... but i think what happened to Hodgy, is that he realized he wasn't happy and he probably never wanted to become as big as Odd Future had become... hence why he's probably not stressing about music anymore not everyone is cut out to carry fame

Seems like he wanted to be even bigger and was upset he didn’t see the same success as other members

They put their beef aside but it definitely seems to have put a damper on their friendship tbh and Hodgy still doesnt do flog gnaw and hes the only person from OF who doesnt except Frank

I think Frank said a while ago that Hodgy was the one member he was closest too. This was years back so things may have changed but those two definitely felt like more of the outcasts / mature ones from the group.

hodgy’s 2016 streak was crazy too. Fireplace, Dukkha tape, They Watching tape and the other loosies. I loved what he was doing then
