Pretty much my biggest example
you cant change that tho
some people be more mature and most of them are not
it is what it is, it's not technically bad

Ehh I beg to differ
It's not technically bad but it's not good and promotes alot of negative consequences in the long run
Not sure u read that thread but u gotta see what other people were saying as well

u gotta read the entire thread, theres alot of pretty important things that were discussed in it and alot of correct view points
yes. it can be changed, the biggest issue is that self-reliance is at an all time low which is dangerous in our society.

yeah, think that as life gets crappier for the vast majority of people they begin to fall back on whats familiar and stop maturing because its too much for them
see how the vast majority of literature paraded by college types well into their 20s and 30s is YA and Harry Potter type books

exactly!
people in their 30's talking about their wild harry potter fantasies and "plant babies" is radically immature.

It's borderline predatory and the fact that nobody has called this s*** out is wild.

oh but the weird thing is I see upper middle class types do it too. i mean you can look at people relating to the office or naming their Harry Potter houses - it becomes a parasocial relationship for them even if they're doing well

Yeah a big thing is the influence of pop culture turning younger and younger as people age. Obviously most people in their 30's aren't like this, but if you go onto reddit for example you see a LOT of users like this. There's nothing wrong with a hobby or being interested in literature or F*** even Harry Potter but having your whole life revolve around it is not good for your maturity as you keep aging (but then again 40 isn't even old)
also, yeah fair enough. there's no reason to get mad at things you can't change but personally speaking out against it is definitely a smart idea however.
just did, but what's the gist of the thread
you'll see. i posted it a few days ago because it wouldn't last in this sxn

I'm a huge fan of anime, video games and all types of geek s***. But yeah niggas gotta go outside and travel lol.
Also, this is probably not connected to your original point but the amount of people my age and older that I see doing random tik tok challenges kinda odd lol like it was chicks that graduated years ahead of me doing silhouette challenges and s***
