Anna Fox Rochinski of Quilt dropped her debut album last week, entitled "Cherry." It is the truest form of '80s Revival in my humblest opinion, and is a fun listen regardless.
She weaves in contemporary sounds with pop melodies and chords that would be familiar to anyone who listens to Eagles or anything of the like. Her voice also seems to fit perfectly for the sound, with a unique luster for powerful-yet-lowkey vocals throughout—on top of a respectable range.
The Weeknd is an obvious case for what someone may think is '80s Revival, and yet, while undoubtedly an incredible artist with an ear for '80s sound, he seems to only perpetuate the sound that made the '80s sound what it is, instead of expanding upon it in every sense.

Would love to hear your opinion.
I will check it out. This is a tough question 🤔
Because there are so many sounds of the 80s. Like Kenna and his Depeche Mode type sound. Or like someone like Tuxedo. That’s 2 different styles. 🤔
About to listen.. 😎
What's the album name lol
The first song is great
Lmao thank you, I'm a dumbass. Updated OP.

Great point, should have specified. I would say more pop '80s in the likes of Eagles or Fleetwood. Might be a reach but I mean more on evolution of sound rather than direct interpretation.
no point reviving the 80s you cant top music like this
just go find another decade

Nowhere near this! So fire, good looks.
This Cherry song is great
love her aesthetic
Cherry's bassline is unreal, feels so familiar but is used in such a satisfying way.
f*** you op
Damn I did not stop to think...
As a huge Dev Hynes fan, I'm honestly a little ashamed. He is definitely the one brigging it. Negro Swan is literally my most listened to album of all time too.
He really does feel like the future sometimes, huh? The more I think about it, the more I agree with you.

Nice production
Abel went specifically for the 80s Arena Synth Pop feel and he killed it tbh
