Why do you think that is? For me Lana's recent actions have really hurt her aesthetic, and I don't feel comfortable supporting her publicly anymore.
For Mac it was weird. I don't LOVE his music, but still listen to his albums because they're nice, cohesive experiences. Seeing how people reacted when he happened to use the same title as Mitski was wild
